Once the implant has been chosen, it is then fixed in the desired area (over the bone). After placing the implants, it will then be secured by tiny screws anchored to the cheekbone - this is to prevent unwanted movement of the implant, not until the healing process takes place. Using absorbable sutures, incisions are then closed.

Recovery

You may notice a moderate swelling of the mid – face for around ten to fourteen days after the cheek augmentation, it will gradually disappear in several weeks.
